Hamlet: The First Ghost Scene

In each movie the actors portrayed each character very differently. In some of the movies the character of Hamlet was played very well and like in the medieval perspective. I think the best movie with the best Hamlet is the one where Mel Gibson plays Hamlet. The mood and tone of the movie that Director: Franco Zeffirelli made was scary and set the tone very deep and dark. Also, it was a dark on the top of the castle setting. In the movie made by Director: Kenneth Branagh was the scariest movie I thought because Hamlet was running though the woods like something was chasing him. The setting was in the woods and as Hamlet was running the ground was shaking and blowing smoke out of it. Another thing about this movie was that it just seemed evil. The movie that was my least favorite was the one Directed by Michael Almereyda. The mood of it was very modern day and when you hear "Hamlet" I think of old and back in the day. When the ghost and Hamlet starts to talk it is very light and its in an apartment. I like how each director use the props in all of the moves. The prop that stands out the most to me was the cloth were the ghost kept dabbing his ear! If I would make a movie scene like this one that we watch i wouldn't change it that much but I would like to do a combination of all three. Each movie has some good point in some way or another and some things I really don't like. The way I would portry the charaters would be a very scary and fustrating tone. Also, the one prop i would use is the cloth for the ghost. Another prop I would use for the ghost is to put him in his armor. Hamlet I would make hime look like the one in the version played by Mel Gibson. I would have Hamlet on top of the castle looking very scared and in suspence onto whats going to happen. The ghost would come like down or out of the dark dreery night and just start speeking to Hamlet. As the ghost is talking to his son Hamlet is very upset when the ghost tells him who kills him. Hamlet now knows his uncle killed his father and now wants revenge on his uncle Claudius. Hamlet right away wants to leave to get back at Claudius but his father the ghost is holding him back but is not really touching Hamlet. When the ghost scene is over the ghost reaches for Hamlets face and vanishes.
