Invisble Chrildren

I have this friend in youth group that told us all about this horrible thing that was happening in Uganda, Africa. He told us all about it and his school was even helping out the stiuation by selling the rubber braclets for $2.00. I was really interested in it because I didn't see a documenry on it. Invisble Children is were children are kidnapped and are forced to fight in war! When they came to my school they told us what we were going to watch. I tought to my self oh i remember what my friend Mark told us. As the documentry went on its became sad and heart renching. When Tonys mother died i started getting chills. I felt really sorry for Tony. Also, I tought to myself why cant our school do something to help? I am very involed in a lot of community sevice. I am very active in Relay For Life. I help so much with that so why can't Bloomfield High do something to help the Invisble Children. Invisble Chrildren changed my life and I hope that we put a stop to Invisble Children. If our counrty has evey school to have a funraiser when can put a stop to Invisble Children.

Joey, this is a candid and heartfelt reflection. I am glad to see you making connections to what you had previously heard from your friend ad articulating it here. You also make clear your emotional reaction in watching it which is important. Thanks for your feedback!
